I agree he's been mostly awful since Apocalypse Now. I did like 83's The Outsiders and 92's Bram Stoker's Dracula. 1986's Peggy Sue Got Married was well received and a moderate success. He hasn't made anything of note this century but hey, everybody peaks at a point in their life and in FFC's case it was at age 40.
