I'd probably say so. What was Michael Caine doing in this movie? I think he's an incredible actor and has made way far batter films such as Dark Knight, Prestige and Inception.

I didn't know that. Anyway he did it for the money. Who could blame him ? Actors have to pay the bills too.

Bullseye! comes pretty darn close, but Jaws 4: The Revenge is truly one of the worst movies ever made.
I do love Sir Michael's comment on doing the film: "I have never seen it, but by all accounts it is terrible. However, I have seen the house that it built, and it is terrific."

Martin Scorsese IS the best

How about On Deadly Ground from 1994 with Steven Seagal? Any movie in which an actor appeared with Steven Seagal would have to be the worst movie that actor ever acted in.

I always find it interesting when people look at it that way instead of thinking that a really great actor can turn it into something descent.

Woody Allen said "If I had to live my life again, I'd do everything the same, except that I wouldn't see The Magus." Of course, at that point the Wood Man hadn't seen "The Swarm" or "Jaws 4: The Revenge" yet.

Jaws: The Revenge is awful but Bullseye! has to be one of the most inept films ever made. Beyond the Poseidon Adventure and Water are serious challengers to the shark film, too.
