Him and Tony Scott
I find them to be kinda similar in a way. Seemed like the sweetest guys ever who both put out an extraordinary amount of work/lived fast paced lives and burned out at almost the exact same age.

shareI was more affected by Bowie as I'm a larger fan of his work.
shareI think both were equally surprising. I dont think anyone expected Tony Scott to commit suicide, and Bowie death came out of nowhere as nobody knew he had cancer.
