Baldwin is one of those SO FAR LEFT actors that he would never play a liberal-bashing role

There was a discussion on the Pearl Harbor board about Alec's line relishing in the bombing of Japan and if in today's highly-politicized environment, he would agree to play that role, or say that line. It's a healthy debate. I think politics in America is more polarized than ever.

Baldwin relished the opportunity to play Trump on SNL and make him appear as ugly, stupid, and ridiculous as possible. There is no way IFH he would do that if Trump were a Democrat and aligned with his political ideology.
