How I feel the shooting happened

Keeping in mind I am not an Alec Baldwin fan --- he was pretty good when he started out and getting better than he decided to give up acting and become a STAR,, I happens

With a Colt SAA, There are 2 positions for the Hammer, 1/2 cock for loading, and unloading,FULL cock for fireing

AT the 1/2 cock position it is hard to pull the trigger, so you don't shoot yourself while loading

SOO you get the gun loaded, Hammer down---- Nowadays that's safe, BUT the old timers used to put the hammer down on an empty chamber, would matter in this case

OK so hammer down and you're smart-ass Alec fucking around with the gun, He pulls the hammer back, NOT far enough to engage the safety notch at 1/2 way, but close, and the hammers slips out of his thumb,

THERE IS enough tension on the spring to fire the weapon

This is likely what happened

reply

Likely? Hmm. Plausible? Yes.

reply

...& Alec smirked as he watched the woman dying before his eyes, his journey into getting away with murder had begun...

reply

Alec is a dumb fuq who would never know how to handle a firearm properly. Plausible.

I been thinking it over abit and come up with something id not considered before now..

This was basically Baldwins movie, like a passion project. he's listed as co writer/co producer (and was probably financing the thing), he'll have been trying cut corners keep costs low (e.g. hiring inexperienced young armourer and who wouldnt challenge him over safety protocols), as its a passion project he probably wanting complete accuracy in relation to firearms, hence using a fully accurate fully working .45 Colt revolver (the exact same that Harland Rust used)- and heres where im thinking .. loaded with real ammunition for full accuracy for the church scene he was about to shoot (where it was possible to see the chambers), the only kicker is to not fire the gun! which Baldwin (accidently) did. So my theory is he knew it had live ammunition (and maybe put it in there himself? ).. But fired by accident.. (otherwise why was there live ammunition on set??)

anyway it will all come out in the trial if so

reply

Plausible for sure. I think that is still involuntary manslaughter. Unfortunate and sad for all involved.

reply

Yeah he doesn't avoid being charged with involuntary manslaughter

reply

It sounds like there may have been a malicious act in regards to live ammunition getting onto the set.

I'm not saying Baldwin and Reed don't deserve to be charged...but someone else may have committed the perfect crime.

reply

Intriguing..
