In between 2004 and 2008, she didn't have much on her Filmography between those years.

She started her own fashion company, knitting i think called Karen Allen Fiber Arts, also she has a teenage son to look after.

I read somewhere she got lyme disease in 2003. Maybe that's why she had a pause from filming? Does anyone know if that's true??
