Hilariously, WB hired Affleck to be Their "RDJ of The DCEU".....and the end result was 2 Universally Hated Appearances in Major films and 1 Cameo in another universally hated film...
Affleck Himself was BROKEN after only 1 appearance....we all remember the SAD AFFLECK meme's....Affleck was so embarrassed by The Awful BvS, He immediately started drinking and wanted out of the role of Batman, He then started a disastrous downhill career slide, Making his first bad and FLOP movie as a director....He Literally Gained 20 pounds in between BvS and JL....and didnt even care to try and get it off, Thats why he looks so Chubby in Justice League, A film he wanted no part of and completely Phone in his Performance....
Affleck's now saying every chance he gets He's Looking for a way to Leave the role of Batman.
Bottom Line, RDJ is currently on his 9th MCU film.....He's currently the most bankable star in the world in that role, He's made over 400 Million dollars playing The role and He's been a part of the most successful franchise of all time now for 10 years
Affleck Time as Batman is over after only 3 films, Batman went from a proven Billion dollar character to Losing over 40% of Its Drawing Power and audience with Affleck in the role, Affleck Will forever be remembered and Mocked for The biggest creative failure in History in "Martha", The Franchise he was supposed to lead for the next 10 years is DEAD after only 5 films and 3 appearances as Batman...

The WHOPPER here of course though is, Batman Lost over 40% of its drawing power and audience when Affleck was cast and Snyder got a hold of the character...
WB has a Duty NOT to bring Affleck back...You can not let A property be damaged that much, at this point WB has to start trying to FIX the property and gain audiences back and that can only be done with cutting Snyder and Affleck out, and starting over, thats why they gave Reeves creative control and are letting him recast
