Expendables 3

I have a feeling that Bruce Willis REALLY didn't wanna do the expendables 3. Maybe he severely hates Sylvester Stallone, or someone else involved with the expendables series. It might be more about turning the role down, rather than Willis expecting to be able to gouge more money from his position.

Don't get me wrong, I have heard tons of stories about how much of a douche Bruce Willis usually is in general. I would believe either way, but it just feels kinda weird for him to ruin a position of making 3 million for a few days work just to try and make an extra million.

It just doesn't feel like anyone would act in a way where they take 4 million or nothing when 3 million is not a much less. It doesn't seem like a person would actually have an ego so big that basically a million dollars a day is not enough but just a little bit more is, and they would rather nothing if not what they want specifically.

Believing he has such a huge ego seems like something that people would believe about someone because they forget celebrities are still people. Plus its also easy to believe for people it because hes a jerk lol.

Maybe he just threw a crazy figure out there because he knew he wouldn't have to go through negotiations on a movie that he knew was going to suck even worse than the first two, and they were pretty damn bad...

EX3 was nothing but an ego boost for Stallone. There's this group of legendary icons that doesn't get enough of screen presence because Stallone decides to replace them with his MMA buddies. It feels like the only reason that Arnold, Dolph, Snipes and other legends are in there is to sell tickets, because Stallone knows that nobody will pay a penny nowadays to see his sorry ass by himself (look at "Bullet to the Head" box office). Jet Li had a miserable 5 minute cameo in EX2, guess what this time he gets only 2 (!!!) minutes and it's not even a fight he sits in a chopper shooting CGI gun. Stallone steals %90 of the screen time and gets all the best fights/kills in the movie. It was pathetic to watch.

Bruce Willis has his own share of sins (recent "Die Hard" sequel), but I'd like to think that he saw through Stallone's glory-hunting bullsh!t and rightfully told him to stop being a narcissistic douche, increase the salary or else to f#k off.

I'd say it was all about the money. Look at all the crap movies he's doing now that never see the light of day. He's just cashing checks at this point.
