Die Hard 6-empire state of mind

So John is in new York and he gets a phone call from Zeus (Samuel Jackson) and they meet up and have a coffee and there talking about the events of die hard 3! And laughing and joking! With john saying "i still have that *beep* headache" Zeus then proceeds to tell john that his nephew has got this new high end Job in the Empire State building, john then says he has never been before so Zeus takes him in to vist his nephew! When they get there, they're are waiting in Zeus nephews office and then they hear gunshots that's when the *beep* happens!

Nice idea for Die Hard IV. But thats over and done.
I think they should make nomore Die Hard movies. Not one of them ever lived up to the original and the last 2 where pretty much near unwatchable.
if they realy make another one I would favor a very different aproach making it personal for John and leaving out the sidekicks entirely

You are so wrong. Die hard IV was the best and the one I rewatch the most.

They are from best to worst:

4,1,2,5,3.

They deserve a chance to make the last one better than 5 was.

Bring on 6!

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I think you're crazy if you think any of the sequels is better than the original. The very reason any sequels exist is because of how awesome the original was. It was the best in terms of character development, believability, and it ramped up slowly until the big action payoff in the third act. That's how you make a great action movie. Every other movie is subjective, and I have no problem where you rank them although I personally think 5 was a terrible movie due to the ridiculous plot and laughably implausible stunts.

The poster for Die Hard 4 should have been a dead horse with Bruce Willis beating it.

"THAT THE PROBLEM! One son who can't say boo to his wife, and the other, the other just gives up!"

I don't understand the haters for Live Free or Die Hard... it is the best reviewed of the sequels and I agree with those reviews... by the way, up until A Good Day to Die Hard, Die Hard: With a Vengeance was the worst reviewed and only Die Hard film to be classified as "Rotten" on Rotten Tomatoes....

I don't agree with that "Rotten" classification, I enjoyed all the Die Hard films.

I was definitely disappointed with parts 3 and 5, but still enjoyed them... I hated how McClane all the sudden was an alcoholic in part 3 (we never saw any indication of a drinking problem before)... but whatever... I looked past the things I didn't like and enjoyed it.

I truly believe that part 5's "badness" was partly the fault of moronic fans who complained of the PG-13 rating of part 4... as if all the fans cared about was the cussing and excessive violence... so in part 5 McClane cussed more and excessively violenced more (did I say that right?) to give it the coveted R-rating those fans wanted... and apparently the film-makers figured that was enough... and I can freely admit that A Good Day to Die Hard was a bad movie, but it was fun, and any time Bruce decides to be John McClane... I'm there....

...just please, if they make another Die Hard, don't let Randall Emmett and George Furla produce the film... they are responsible for Bruce's latter day downfall, with all the direct to video movies they've produced with him.
