Ah, when film actors take to the stage! He used to do stage acting when he had a house in Idaho, but I think that's long gone. This reminds me of the problems Jodie Foster had when she decided to do theater at Yale. She was so used to film delivery, that she bombed.
The stage, she is not like a bicycle. Get out of practice and it doesn't immediately come back.
And who's directing this thing? Or is Bruce undirectable? (Some say so -- he certainly was in "Sunset," but as James Garner said, word was he'd gotten over that.)
Well, after this review, he just might turn up the wattage a bit.
When evil is viewed as good, righteousness is viewed as evil.
Kevin Spacey should have played Sheldon. He's done lots of theatre and would surely be much better.
shareNot surprised. Everything I have read about Willis's working habits..particulary his hating to do retakes....screams he was wrong for the stage, where you basically do the same thing night after night.
