Fired by Woody Allen

Bruce continues to shoot himself in the foot.

He wasn't fired.

Willis was one of the first actors to be cast but unfortunately he was set to star in a Broadway adaptation of Stephen King's "Misery" and couldn't make the scheduling work. As the film is already in production.

"That's what I call Karma for what he did to Ralph Garman."

Aw, what did he do to Ralph?

reply

i think he is getting older and perhaps burned out and it shows. also, maybe his wife wants him home (ny home) more with their kids.

That is possible to how his career is in the funk it's in at the moment.

He was fired as filming of Café Society was underway, scheduling conflict is an excuse. Woody Allen replaces actors all the time when they don't deliver. See Michael Keaton.
