I guess hes 6 feet tall..

But it seems on a lot camera angles and stuff he always looks smaller.

Is this some trick to make him seem more like the underdog alpha?

He's closer to 5'10 1/2''.

Don't know how tall Bruce is, but yeah, he often appears a short guy in his films. If he's not, then... good for him. He ain't no prima donna.
