Mark Wahlberg is a movie actor, and that's why we're here... Right?

I like him a lot in:

The Corruptor
The Yards
Boogie Nights

Generally speaking he's not a personal favourite as a leading man, but when he's cast well, and directors do their job right, he contributes a lot to a film.

Anybody else on here like him - as an actor, I mean.

Yes, as an actor.
How, in truth, can we say we like him as a man, unless we have met him or know someone who has met him or worked with him? He seems(I said seems) an ok guy these days, but that's only judging from chat shows and a few interviews. We don't always know all that much meaningful stuff from these tv interviews or chats, just a mask of the person beneath.
