Lucas would be worth a lot more but he donates a lot of his money.

shareHe has given away a lot more than that... he didn't keep a penny from his Lucasfilm/Star Wars deal with Disney and just that deal was worth over 4 billion... I bet he must have lots of nice things... but at the same time, he doesn't have bodyguards following him everywhere... still regularly dresses in jeans and flannel shirts like he's done since the 60s... you may even catch him having a meal worth maybe $10 at a mall food court.
shareLucas showed up years ago to the In & Out burger joint in Mill Valley when it opened. He was pretty lowkey about the whole affair with people giving him space out of respect.
shareThe fact that he is a billionaire and people don't even think of him as a rich guy says a lot about how he presents himself and treats others. I know people who THINK they're rich (all debts) and treat people like dirt.
