I'd like to see Spielberg direct William H. Macy in a flick. It doesn't have to be in a lead role and it can be in whichever genre.
I know that mega-selling author and sometimes screenwriter, Stephen King, and Steven Spielberg have been trying to work together for years. I hope finally a project comes together that they can both work on.

Yes, it would be good to see Macy star in a Spielberg film. To be sure, he's at least been in films which Spielberg has executive produced, such as Seasbiscuit and Jurassic Park III.
Spielberg and Stephen King produced a show in 2009 called Under the Dome (which I never saw).
About the idea of Spielberg directing a King story: I'm not sure. King's whole style of setting horror stories in Maine, with subplots about adults having extra-marital affairs and whatnot, isn't really what I'd call Spielbergian. But maybe if Spielberg wanted to adapt an old-fashioned coming-of-age story like Rob Reiner did with Stand by Me, it could work.
