he sold out immediately after making jaws by producing the crappy sequels just for the money. he knew the franchise would be crap after the first film cause it had nowhere to go after losing its most colorful characters but didnt care because there was money to be made on garbage

Um... Spielberg did not produce the Jaws sequels. 

He hasn't made a good movie since Jurassic Park. He officialy sold out when he made Saving Private Ryan which is a pro military propaganda, preparing the public opinion to 9/11 and the wars to come. Spielberg is a war monger while George Lucas is a pacifist, his directing skills went downhill dramatically after that movie. Then he went on by producing another military propaganda Band of Brothers, and the abominable Transformers series.
