Do you think he assaulted Colin Farrell as well?

Colin Farrell was discovered by Spacey while he was in a play when he was young. He gave him his first little role in a film and introduced him to Joel Shumacher who is also gay.

Maybe. But Colin was so good looking in his youth that they'd be happy just to leer at him. He was their eye candy. Just as straight guys hire pretty girls to be their secretaries I'm sure gay guys hire good looking guys just to bask in their reflected glory.
