shareI'm sure the vast majority of celebrities when they accept those awards are looped on something of their own choosing to 'settle their nerves' if nothing else.
When Michael Jackson was big with Thriller thirty years ago, it was said he and Lionel Richie were stoned at the AMAs or Grammys, as they wore those sunglasses, but also because they were very subdued in their behavior, Lionel especially.
I thought she was saying she was stoned at awards shows and that people hated her so much, they threw rocks at her.
