Why is this old HAG on PBS?

She must know where the bodies are buried at PBS, since she was able to BLACKMAIL them into giving her a speaking part in Downton Abbey. (Yes, I know it's just the "highlights" review, but it's as close as a vile creature like she will EVER get to a real hit.)

By allowing her an association with Downton Abbey, PBS LOWERS its high standards. She is a Marxist who works to destroy this country, while making herself rich beyond our imagination. What a DESTRUCTIVE HAG! No wonder that limb biscuit "husband" of her finally bailed. He should have known better than have anything to do with her in the first place.

Just a word of advice, Susan dearie, COVER UP! Your "orange peel" blobby chesticles are not attractive, and they aren't getting any better with age!

If you love this country, or just like having a job, or a prospect of having a house someday, you should run with horror, away from this nasty, angry, and exceedingly STUPID hypocrite.

OK then. What Camargue was apparently trying to get across was this: S/he sharply disagrees with Sarandon's liberal views and it makes him/her very angry that people disagree with him/her. S/he has also made the startling observation that as women get older, it is not unusual for them to become less sexually appealing than when they were younger; yeah, stop the presses for that one. Camargue also seems a little upset that Sarandon is both wealthy and liberal.

I have seen enough to know I have seen too much. -- ALOTO

i for one, i think she got better with age..find me another almost 70 years old woman that looks so stunning like susan..

and as far as "real hits"..the woman had a lot of success throughout her career

Hey, this may be a wild, totally off-the-wall theory, but maybe she got the role on "Downtown Abbey" because she is like, a well-known, award-winning actress?

What's so special about having a supporting role on a soap opera anyway? And that's all Downton Abbey is, no better or worse than Dallas or Dynasty but because it's British, a period piece, and on PBS some birdbrains seem to think it's a prestigious series. Even the leading man quit in disgust about the hackneyed scripts a few seasons back.

The trouble with your argument is that the soap opera genre is pretty popular, and always has been. "Dallas" and "Dynasty" were both very popular shows, that featured well-known actors (and even catapulted some of them to stardom). I will bet you that Larry Hagman earned more for a handful of episodes of "Dallas" than you and I will make in our entire lifetimes!
