Scientologist
Mimi is a Scientologist. My opinion of her dropped after I heard that.
shareShe left Scientology.
shareI really think Mimi left Scientology too!
shareShe's the one who screwed up Tom Cruise
shareScientology isn't any worse than christianity, islam or any other "religion", they all should be whiped out as they have no place in a modern society. We're in the 21st Century yet people still believe in "God", "Aliens" and other fairytales and i wonder why only famous scientology have those "I lost interest/oppinion/i hate them" topics and not every crazy "I believe there's a god" person because they aren't any better.
shareI love how people say "We're in the 21st Century", as if that's an argument for something.
shareIt is A LOT worse. It's not about nutty beliefs, it's about the ABUSE people receive, how families are broken up, lives ruined etc.
If it were just about fairy tales I don't think most people would care.
It appears that Mimi Rogers has left the Church of Scientology – she had been described in recent media reports as a "former" member of the church. Tom Cruise biographer Andrew Morton alleged that Mimi's father Philip Spickler had been declared a Suppressive Person after leaving the church in the early 1980s during a cull of Mission Holders. Spickler has since become part of the Free Zone movement. A 2012 article in Vanity Fair alleged that Mimi held an unfavorable view of the church's controversial leader, David Miscavige. In the book "Going Clear: Scientology, Hollywood, and the Prison of Belief" published in 2013, author Lawrence Wright alleged that Miscavige had pushed Rogers from her marriage with Tom Cruise so the latter could pursue Nicole Kidman.
You don't know enough about Scientology, or you wouldn't make such a trite, facile comparison to other religions. Scientology is poison.
