Julia's Make Up

First off; Julia is a great actress and I am a fan.. However, I am all for natural beauty. But I noticed a trend with her that she likes to be "Ugly Pretty" now in her films. And maybe the characters are written as bare faced too. And I am not putting it down. I need makeup. I am a big ball of blotchiness without it.

But she doesn't need to ugly herself up to be nominated for an Oscar. Pretty woman proves that as does Erin Brockovich of course. And almost all her other films prior to her hitting her current age. Not that it matters but I have a theory. Maybe she knows how Hollywood hates women over 35 and so she is embracing her aging so she can act like she doesn't care? Or maybe she really does not care. Either way I respect her daringness to go for the sans makeup look. Especially in an industry that is based on looks as much as talent in the majority of cases.
