My husband had leukemia, which resulted in my learning a lot about it.
After a person has been in remission for more than five years with no recurrence, the chance of the same leukemia is less than that of it occurring in you or me or anyone else.
Oncologists don't like to use the word "cure," but I suspect that in Kim's case, and my huband's, you could safely say they are cured.
Edit: Kim's leukemia went public in 1988. There were reports of a relapse in 2001 and 2002, never confirmed by Reeves. Even if she did have a recurrence, she's apparently been in good health way beyond the five year period.

Last pictures I saw she looked happy and healthy and pretty gorgeous, considering she is no spring chicken.
I have no idea if she is married.
They are both good looking. He is never in the "rag" mags anymore. I'm glad somebody knows how to keep track of him and his family. I wonder where he spends most of his time since the rag mags can't find him?
