Why he doesn't have A-list career? What can he do to get into Marvel or at least popular tv show?

Always wondered why he didn't get A-list career. He is so pretty even now in his 40+. And is not problematic and is not and addict. But still can’t get cast in anything big. Even in small supporting role.

Is ts bad agent and lack of desire to audition for everything? There is no way he can’t find a lead role at least on tv show. I feel like he was sitting and waiting for big movies but roles never came. And his 20-something years passed by. I really feel he was just not trying enough.

I feel like eventually he did gave up his "waiting for big role" and started taking those small budget forgettable movies. And turned into TV. With taking roles in Secrets and Lies. Then Shooter had a good run for 3 seasons and people still like that show. Did 5 episodes for Big Sky. Then does small budget movies again.

At this point his only chance at relevancy and returning to stardom is to get into famous tv show. And there are so many big shows out there and he could really get into one. And instantly he would be everywhere like Game of Thrones or Witcher actors.

Dear Ryan, please audition for everything until they will take you in. Do TV.

He was great in macgruber.

Maybe he doesnt want to be at that level.

The price of fame and fortune is usually not worth it.

Nah. I feel like he was having those Reese Witherspoon money and they lived rich life. And he just waited for good roles to come. But they never came. Eventually he gave up and started doing those forgettable small budget movies. Just to have work and income.

He wasted his career. Should have found better agent who would put him into auditions. I think he was auditioning for Anakin Skywalker and Harvey Dent in Dark Knight. Probably auditioned for Captain America too since he is the type.

He did a lot more independent movies. Check out The Way of the Gun.

The Way of the Gun is awesome. I ran across that movie many years ago when I was working at Hollywood Video and decided to check it out and loved it. I've watched it several times since then.

Chris McQuarrie has gone on to apparently be the permanent director for the Mission: Impossible series but in my opinion The Way of the Gun is still his best film.

Because he is a terrible actor and absolutely embarrasses himself in everything he does when you see him act alongside other actors including the average ones.

His acting just wasn't believable doing the Celery Distraction, and his career bombed as a result.
