That guy is really 40
Makes me feel okay to be 37
shareExactly...like I am still trying to believe it but I guess he took care of himself very well
shareSeriously? It amazes me how some people act like as soon as you hit 40 your life is either over or you just start looking old,and automatically lose your looks---which is not even the case half the time. Also there are a lot of folks in everyday life who look far younger or older than their actual age---nothing unusual about that.
shareMost people feel old once they reach the old age of 25, lol Anything over 25 is great grandparents.
shareHe is 42. He looks fantastic for his age
shareHe truly does look fantastic.
In most of the pictures paired with his mid-20s fiancee, they both look they come from the same peer group and it works visually as a "young couple." To me, it doesn't look like a 42 year old middle aged man dating a 25 year old college alum.
If, at some point in the future, he starts dating ladies who are younger than his daughter - then that might be a little bit creepy.
It's still mind-boggling to me that 1) Daniel Craig is only 7 years older and could legit pass as his father and 2) Ken Bone, from the second Presidential Debate, is almost 10 years younger at 34 years old - and is another person who could legit pass as his father.
I don't buy the "It's because he's a celebrity and has had work done" or "It's botox and fillers" thing because we have people like Michael Fassbender, Luke Evans, David Gandy, etc. - all younger than Phillippe, with access to re$ource$ - and yet they all look older than their respective ages.
And Ryan also had the added stress of raising two grown-ass kids!
When quizzed he replies, "I take really good care of myself." He cites his passion for working out, which he calls his therapy, and that he researches the latest on what is and what is not healthy to eat. But also, he acknowledges the role that genetics play. BTW, none of his sisters look their ages either.
It's not what a movie is about, it's how it is about it.
RIP Roger Ebert
42 is by no means old but he could still pass for his early to mid 30s.
shareNo, 42 is not old at all. but in an industry that worships youth, it's a struggle. Those who have a genetic leg up have an advantage. Amy Adams is another example.
