Family of Bill Paxton settles wrongful death lawsuit with Los Angeles hospital

Paxton died on 25 February 2017 from a stroke that occurred 11 days after he underwent surgery to replace a heart valve and repair damage to his aorta.

His wife and their children sued a year later, accusing Khoynezad of performing a risky, unconventional, unnecessary surgery on Paxton at Cedars-Sinai that he was too inexperienced to pull off.

There's nothing in that article that backs up what the ambulance chaser claims. I'm not saying it's not true, but that citation is crap.

And yet you bump the post. Rookie!

I don't care if this post is trending, my points were two: a better citation about whether Paxton was indeed butchered by a doctor who was out of his league (I'd like to know but I'm not inclined to do the research) and to take an easy shot at ambulance chasers.

I read the article in the link. Apparently Bill Paxton did not have to die ... thanks Medical Industry!

No, that link says no such thing.

You can read the original court documents:

It does sound like Paxton died unnecessarily. Poor Bill. He didn't need the surgery. The doctor was inexperienced and routinely performed risky surgery. And he left the operating room, failed to return as Bill went into cardiac arrest three times which delayed emergency surgery to correct the medical issue.

Not only did the inexperienced quack and hospital kill Paxton, they tried to cover it up by not doing an autopsy. They lied and said the family didn't want one when they actually did. The family is suing about that, too.

Doctors killing celebrities isn't new. Andy Warhol, Joan Rivers, Elvis and Michael Jackson met their doom because of bad doctors.

That could all be true (I'll read the link when I have a few more minutes although court documents sounds like a long read), but the original link only presented the side of the money grubbing ambulance chaser.

Of course, the doctor denies wrongdoing. But, why did he and the hospital lie about an autopsy? You can get the doctor's side by reading his answer or reply, but I think CA charges money to see their court documents and I can't find a free version online.

I attempted to do a background check on the doctor. Every review is a 100% perfect score which makes me suspicious. Paid reviewers? No mention of lawsuits on any medical review site.

Their attorney is very thorough. A pit bull. I'm impressed by the detail.
