October 2024: Al Pacino to Release an Autobiography

Al Pacino is about to release an autobiography --written "with the help of/as told to?" Lawrence Grobel" -- with a "Foreward by Al Pacino" so one figures this is more of a Q and A thing? I do believe that Grobel did some of the best celebrity "Playboy interviews" back when those were a prestigous honor -- did Grobel do Brando? PACINO?

Still, an autobio from a major movie star is always interesting. THEIR take on their life and career and co-stars and directors.

La Streisand gave us a big one last year, it was fun.

It will be interesting to see what Big Al has to say.

"Sonny Boy"(his nickname) is the title.

One key hook: Pacino's three best friends from childhood/teens all died of heroin overdoses. Only he made it through. A sobering thought.
