May 30, 2010 marks 10 years since Dieter pulled the plug. I'm aware that Myers apparently found his own script unacceptable, how he supposedly requested a $10 million pay increase, and how Universal sued him, but I for one thought said script was brilliant. Does anyone know if there are any plans to finally make Sprockets into a movie? (My apologies if this has been addressed in past threads.)

Doubt it would ever happen at this point. -That skit's base-popularity/movie-value went out with the era of SNL/decade it was popularized (within).

i would have loved a Sprockets movie. wasn't the plot of the movie sort of similar to Borat/Bruno? Dieter coming to America and being seeing as a weirdo while trying to make it in Hollywood
He blew his chance with Dieter now that Sasha Baron Cohen has usurped and crudely updated Dieter turning into Bruno
