It seems like there has always been this hope that Bill Murray would become a great actor again or star in a brilliant movie but reality seems to kick in when one starts to realize that his career is pretty much over and there is little chance that he will become a star again

he's doing MCU movies now he is sell out taking paychecks

It’s a shame that he will probably never be in a movie that has the impact of Groundhog Day again or even have a prominent supporting role like in Rushmore.

he's been semi-canceled i doubt he will get quality work other from W Anderson or S Coppola

There is nothing wrong with that. He needs to take all the cash he can. You are just as much a sell out as him I am sure.

For one thing, he's 73, so I don't know how much more we should expect from him anyway. Yeah, there are plenty of working actors his age. But most people in their 70's should be just retired and kicking back. Still, he's got a role in the upcoming "Ant Man & The Wasp: Quantumania". If Disney/Marvel will hire him, he's not "cancelled".

He’s probably slowing down due to age.
