Here is what I want to know - exactly what does "pulling" on a person's hair mean?

It has been reported that Murray left this recent film because the actress made a complaint he pulled her hair. There has been horribly incomplete reporting on this incident. By this I mean, what is the context of what occurred, and what was Murray's intent?

I'm not excusing malicious behavior or celebrity-privileged bad behavior but would like to know exactly what was his behavior and what was behind it.

For example, was it out of his quirky personality and with levity? Did the actress have braids or hair extensions and for some sort of bizarre joke, Murray tugged on one asking something like if it was real hair? Or was it something with serious malice or insult?

Yes very little information on what I think is a unprecedented incident in Hollywood...One complaint shutting down a entire production.

Murray was on CNBC for a short while a month or so back and said all the right PC things... sounded earnest and contrite. Murray blamed himself for his behavior and said something to the effect that in this business we are constantly learning new things, behavior of other actors that coast them their careers..etc..etc.

He didn't get into the details but we can assume that if the Incident was truly serious, we probably would have heard more by now.
