Is Bill Murray A Drug User?

I met Bill Murray at a baseball game earlier this year, and he didn't appear under the influence of anything.

Murray did look rather exhausted, yet was very outgoing: he happily signed autographs and posed for pictures with fans for over an hour after the game.

Nobody looked liked Cary Grant. Murray is 65. What's he supposed to look like?

Some people see how well-liked Murray is and can't wait to jump on here and say some nasty silly crap about him.

Keep it up if you like. You sure as hell aren't hurting Bill Murray.

Yes, but Cary Grant was....well, Cary Grant. At 65, he looked better than men 20 years his junior, and was probably more attractive and charming than most actors of any age or era.

You're comparing apples and oranges.

Did his beloved Cubs win? I guess that matters because I also saw him at a Mets/Cub game and he was rude, obnoxious and nasty to anyone who came up to him and of course the Cubs lost that game. 

Yes, the drugs were free flowing back in the early season of SNL. Chevy loved pot and cocaine, Dan the same. Gilda, Garrett Morris (later on he became addicted to cocaine and heroin) and Laraine Newman liked their pot. Bill and Eddie did almost anything that was offered. We all know about John Belushi and Chris Farley addictions to all illegal drugs and alcohol. The only one from the first cast members that didn't go down that alley was Jane Curtin and she always felt odd woman out from the rest of the cast, the unhip one. The cast member who also wrote scripts and staff writers for the show seemed to used drugs as a creative tool.

There were John Belushi’s misogynist rants sometimes fueled by alcohol and/or drugs, numerous backstage fights between cast members and one leading to a fist fight between Bill Murray and Chevy Chase who despised one another, Gilda Radner’s bulimia and health, and the widespread use of drugs, etc. Everybody hated everybody else and drugs were everywhere and easily attainable. There was a lot of jealousy, resentment, distrust and at times paranoia between the original cast members. There was a lot of resentment and anger over Chevy being the first member of the not ready for prime time players to stand out. But, he was the only original cast member who came from television while the rest had more theater/stage experience.
