Is she a dedicated actress or an exhibitionist?

Julianne is a very brave actress. She has played pretty diverse roles and has played roles some other actors would not take on, in one role she played a woman that humped her son on screen, she had done nude lesbian sex scenes with women that are much younger.

What it boils down to is Julianne has played a lot of controversial roles. Does she willingly seek these roles, or is she a actress that is truly dedicated to her craft?

Maybe there are elements of both, in her. After all, acting is a self-promoting occupation, wherein the goal is to have as many people as you can looking at you, and approving of what they see.
