The CRAFT Remake

I just saw on IMBD where Alyssa Milano was cast as "Bonnie" in the upcoming remake of THE CRAFT. REALLY??? I mean she is like 43 or something and in 2008 the movie "Pathology" she had to wear so much makeup to fit in the age of that character. Does anyone know if this is really true? Would like to know if it is and absolutely how they plan to cast her as a teenage witch with Melissa Joan Hart who also is 40. Fan of both but can't believe this is true.

So she'll be the same age (maybe a year younger) than Robin Tunney who played Bonnie in The Craft originally? Ridiculous if it's true! I actually hope they don't do a remake, I loved the original.
I was gonna let you *beep* me, but I got my rag, and I know how you hate a mess

Unimaginable how they can cast middle age movie stars to play teenagers and I know it happens all the time. Like when the elderly stars over 70 refuse to grow old and play a mother of teenagers in a lifetime movie, lol. Still, I would like to see either a remake or a sequel which would be better. We will always have the original to treasure.
Would be awesome if they made a remake and put the original gals in grown up roles like parents or teachers. Would like to see a Craft reunion at the least.

I doubt this is true! I mean where's your source?

However,I could see her in a practical magic remake over the craft remake.

On the other hand, if male actors can play leading roles up into their old age, then why not! I mean Tom Cruise is 54 and still playing the lead hero in movies, and let's not talk about how much makeup is used on Johnny Depp.

I just hope that she would take roles that are more suited for her amazing acting skills instead of another remake we don't need!
