As corny as it sounds, today is my 3 year "anniversary" with Ewan. [laughs] Ah yes exactly 3 years ago today, I watched "Down With Love" and fell in love.

I rented Trainspotting in 1998 on VHS. Never paid any attention to Ewan until the very end when he's walking and he smiles. I totally melted.
shareThat's funny! It was his smile that got me too, except the film was Big Fish. Even covered with blood, that smile was completely amazing. If he had smiled like that in The Phantom Menace, I'd have noticed him years before. Darn you, George Lucas. Look at all the time I missed. :)

It was 1995 when I saw "Shallow Grave". He was so cute, I loved his red hair. I ended up seeing that film about 5 times...
shareSince 1997 (13 years). When I first saw him in an episode of Tales from the Crypt and the movie Trainspotting. After that, I became a fan and tries to watch all the movies he was in.
I was actually surprised to find out he was already married with a kid by then. I thought he looked so young.
He wasn't very popular then, when I found out he was going to be in Star Wars, I was like... "oh... so he's going to be popular now".
