Her Albums Have Zero Longevity Nowadays

MDNA, Rebel Heart and Madame X were all in and out of the chart within weeks.

MX dropped from 1 to #77 on the BB200 last year.

Bruce Springsteen's albums spend longer on the charts and receive far better reviews. Western Stars and Letter to You have scores of 84 and 88 on Metacritic. Madonna's last three albums have scores of 64, 68 and 70.

Madonna faces another problem. Billboard no longer counts the album/ticket bundle that greatly benefits Madonna's opening week so she may struggle to reach the top spot again. Her heyday is long over and she relies on tricks to boost her opening week numbers.

Well at least you’re making sure she’s still trending here!

So she’s not as popular as she once was. Big deal. That hardly negates her past achievements.

A big part of it is that though people genuinely like Madonna they also hate her in America. They hate her success and her corniness. A lot people cant stand romance anymore and a big part of her music is about that along with social issues and injustice. This themes though fun for a min. people tend to put them down the next and not want to deal with them. Regardless of anything there is no denying Madonna's star power.
