My dad is reading the Lee Childs books about Jack Reacher. We film fans do know that there is movie coming about Jack Reacher and Tom Cruise is playing that character. But I did ask my dad who he thinks would have been his choice for the role of Reacher and he said Dolph Lundgren. Anyone agree?

shareI decided to read the books after seeing the movie. As I read, Mr. Lundgren (circa 1993 or so) is who I picture physically, with Cruise's attitude.
I stopped by here to see if anyone felt the same--he's exactly how Mr. Childs describes Reacher!
He fits the body size and style, and I think he can come across mean enough when he needs to. I'm concerned he may now be older than Jack Reacher was in most of the books.... I was trying to think who is tall enough with big broad shoulders and big arms.... Alex O'Loughlin kind of works... he can do the acting and is tall, though not 6'4"... Would sure love to see more of these made into movies.
