Unless he converted or considers himself an Agnostic/Atheist, Swedes are Lutherans (Protestants).

He was raised in a Lutheran environment like most Swedes, he talked about it when he promoted MISSIONARY MAN and THE INQUIRY.

Sweden are on paper protestants. That being said, more than 90% of us are atheists. I don't know ANYONE that is religious, the only swedes I ever have met that have been religious have either been very old or they have foreign backgrounds.

Considering how un-religious Swedes are, they really are quite prudish people. Prostitution, for example, is illegal in Sweden despite being legal in many countries around the world, including parts of the USA - a supposedly Christian country!

Agreed, prostitution should definetly be legal. I ask what George Carlin did, "why should it be illegal to sell something that's perfectly legal to give away?".
