Quite a lot of appearences for a 'special guest star' on Melrose Place.

My former Social Studies teacher (who was my computer teacher before that) said she was a special guest star because she refused to sign a contract. Any more to it?

She was regular cast member, but credited as special guest star in opening to be different from other actors, like Joan Collins in 'Dynasty'
