Her mom is Russian and her dad is Serbian. Even though she is born in Ukraine she is not of Ukrainian descent. But keep in mind this was during the Soviet Union days when lots of Eastern European countries were thrown together to form one republic, meaning that the national borders that today separate Ukraine from Russia were later drawn in.

yeah, well, first of all russians (european), ukranians and serbs are all slavs. asian russians are related to native americans, but she looks very slavic, so her mother is probably from european russia.

problem with this is that slavs are kind of into mixing. they like foreigners, and they adopt bits of foreign cultures, they adopt foreign words, and they bed anything they run into. serbs for example settled at the area they are currently located and they mixed with all the tribes that were there at the time. most of those peoples don't exist any longer, but celts do (ireland) and all serbs have some celtic blood. before they settled at that part of the world, as they migrated, they mixed with germanic peoples (nordic blood) and once they were concurred by ottomans, serbs mixed with them too - that's why serbs typically have darker hair then other slavs (turkish blood).

so, her ethnicity is too difficult to be traced w/o doing a dna analysis.
