Sounds like a first class @sshole.

The writer sounds like a bit of an airhead. Typical Hollywood wannabe idiot who can't understand why TLJ would rather be at his Texas ranch, than have to endure a whole afternoon with some random hipster he doesn't even know, asking inane repetitive questions.

- or so the Germans would have us believe...

Expect for the fact that many actors, directors and such have said he is difficult to work with. It`s a reputation he developed.

I'm working with him now on a film. I'll come to his defense, nice, pleasant man with 0 time for BS! I was afraid to meet him and he's a TRUE GENTLEMAN!!!!

I think people judge him unfairly like he's just an intensely private person who considers acting his job, something he does on screen, and doesn't want it to seep into his private life. And of course he has a short patience even with fans but it's how he is some people love how real and tough he is and others think he's a rude biatch. If you look at this excerpt from the article:

“I have to admit, I’ve never been around anyone like him,” I later said to one of Jones’s close friends, Bill Wittliff, the Austin-based film producer and screenplay writer who cast Jones as the taciturn, hard-edged Woodrow Call in the famous 1989 miniseries Lonesome Dove.

Wittliff chuckled. “But isn’t that precisely why he’s so appealing? Yes, Tommy Lee’s personality can be very hard, very rough. He has an intensity that’s all his own. But it’s an intensity that very few actors can come close to matching. You watch other actors on-screen, and you know they are having to invent their intensity. Tommy Lee does not. That’s just who he is. Believe me, you only need to be around him a couple of minutes to realize he’s not acting.”

..you can tell he isn't a fake person and that he doesn't bother with niceties and small talk, and this often gets him in trouble with people. But it's part of what makes him a great actor even his bff knows the score and likes him regardless.
