It depends if more comes out about him.
It does bug me that in his apology he closes with, "It is not reflective of who I am."
Well....who was it, then? Is what Hoffman did reflective of...John Jacob Jingleheimer Smith, instead? Is he implying he was going through a major nervous breakdown at the time, and that was a completely different personality? It's a cop out.
I don't understand that statement. We ARE what we DO...not what our dreamy ideals are.

And did you know that pervy, inappropriate behavior can be a symptom of early-stage dementia? Maybe it's just time for him to retire and just be 80.
