I don't believe it! I won't believe it!!!

How can she be this monsterous woman that "previous work collegues" , "handlers" and those who claim to have been in contact with her? She is the first to say her career was going down the pan before DH and is very humbled by the money, fame and glory which has landed her way! Rightly so, I might add. This woman is fabulous and has raw talent. The stories in which she had fallen out with the girls on the show are digested and disected to such extremeties that I'm not sure who was the big bad wolf on set. Does anyone on here actually know Teri and can vouch that she is that lovely woman we would all like to believe she is???

I agree, I've been a Teri fan since her small role in "Soapdish" & live in the Bay Area & went to her former junior college. I'm surprised we don't make a bigger deal of her out here! She appeared to be so humbled by her comeback success on DH, I can't imagine that she let it go to her head so quickly, & that she would bite the hands that fed her for 8 successful years. I'm wondering if the famous spat had something to do with Vanessa Williams joining the cast? There were rumors during Season 1 that Marcia Cross was a terror & jealous of Teri; then years later, the script is flipped & Teri's the villain. What gives?

Well kathryn joosten who played Mrs Mccluskey actually sang Teri's praises in an interview she did before she died.

She said that Teri was the friendliest person on the Desperate Housewives set and the only actress that bothered to take time out to talk to her and get to know her. She said that the others only really acknowledged her existence if they we were shooting a scene together. Teri actually bothered to get to know her and the crew members on a personal, friendly level.

Also, when Kathryn was putting together a Christmas party for the crew members Teri gave her a sizable amount of money to make it happen and she was the only one of the 'Housewives' who did donate.

No, she wasn't, and isn't, a not nice person, apparently. Some others were jealous of her. She won awards in the DH show the first season, and of course, her natural beauty, and she was showcased in the show.

It was the blonde who was the B and was eventually fired.

I agree, it was probably jealousy on the part of the other woman. When the show started, Teri was the most famous & won the Golden Globe. Nicollette Sheridan does seem kind of like a difficult person, given the lawsuit against Marc Cherry that she keeps pursuing, even after she lost. I remember reading a quote by her, in which she says Marc Cherry said he wished Teri got hit by a bus. I seriously doubt he would say that about her, maybe about Nicollette herself!

My theory that all the jealousy was building as they filmed season 1 and then when the she won awards that was it, they were pissed. Terri Hatcher seems like a nice person and I remember stories coming out about how she loved baking stuff for the crew. She seems like she is a little neurotic at times and tries to avoid conflict. So I think once the other women started to act like high school kids she just clung closer to her male acting partner and the crew. Not everyone is going to get a long in a work place but it seemed to me like those wonen liked giving the press something to talk about Like her friend it wasn't so mean girl like.
