Quentin needs to make a movie with Mel in it, he brings dead actors back to life

That 'dead' actor is also an accomplished director and getting rave reviews and some Golden Globe nominations for his new movie .

dead as in renewing their public personas---i agree

i would love to see Mel in something (non western) directed by Tarantino but who knows if Mel would ever allow it

Gibson it seems has his own agenda . It seems historical pictures are the thought of the moment. And to be honest why not ?

Tarantino has not been a dead-actor-whisperer for a very long time. He helped put Travolta back on the map, but that was over 20 years ago. And frankly...Travolta needed people to see a different side of his image--so Pulp Fiction worked for him. People to that point equated him with those goofy "Look Who's Talking" movies. Here's the difference...

Mel doesn't need help from Tarantino...to show people just how great he is on-screen. Everyone already knows....he's one of the best actors in Hollywood, period. And his range is amazing. The problem is....many of the power-brokers in Hollywood are holding a grudge against him, making it very difficult to get in a widely-aired, properly-marketed mainstream movie.

Until those petty little men lift their un-spoken sanctions against him, there's not much he can do about it.

Imagine if Tarantino had cast him in Inglorious Basterds.
