He does drink. But he looks fine here. What are you talking about??
shareFilthy hair, bad skin, bloated face, huge dent in his forehead that's probably from getting hammered enough to pass out. That sort of thing.
shareIt's called aging. He's 59 and led a hard life, and the last six years have been a bitch trying to redeem his name after that flappy fish*hore tried to ruin him and his name.
shareA HARD LIFE????
Honey, he's a filthy rich, pampered movie star! For the last forty years, anything that could possibly be called "hard" in his life was there because he brought it into his life of his own free will, and that includes all the substances he's abused and the whore he married of his own free will. Seriously, when a middle-aged man who could have just about any woman in the world decides that a psycho whore is his best option, it's because he's refused to listen to reason.
You do realize Depp came from nothing? His mother and father were horrible alcoholics, and his mother horribly abused him when he was a kid to his teenage years. What he has in terms of wealth was greatly diminished due to Heard's false allegations, yet he continued to give selflessly to many charities and causes he believes in. Primarily children's charities. As for the drugs and alcohol problems, he was clean and sober the entire time he was with Vanessa Paradis, and only backsliding because of Heard's insistence he do it. She love bombed him.
As for his wealth, Depp made that money by his hard work ethic. Unlike Heard who seems to sleep with anything that will guarantee her the lifestyle she craves. Depp made that mo ey BY HIS OWN HARD WORK!
What happened with Heard was a result of HER actions, not his. Would you blame a female abuse victim for falling in love with a man who would go on to abuse her? I hope not.
According to Dr Shannon Curry who gave evidence in court as a third party witness, she said this happens when a victim of spousal abuse is taken over by a borderline psychopath like Heard.
So please, either want to learn what actually happened, or shut up.
Gosh, what sweet things you say about Depp! Is it love???
But seriously, I will allow that Depp's early life may well have been hard, but since then, it's been wealth, creative work he loves, employers who don't care if he shows up hammered or hours late, the best medical care that money can buy, private islands, etc. I've actually spent the last few decades working in the helping professions, and I will die on the hill that Depp's adult life hasn't been hard - not compared to the genuinely hard lives of my clients! Of course he has his demons, but he's also had the resources to get the best help in the world fighting them, and as I've spent my career working with people who needed those resources and couldn't have them, so don't even start.
And of course he's made mistakes, such as his last marriage, but when it comes to personal mistakes, I save my deep sympathy for people who couldn't afford to keep expensive attorneys and psychiatrists on staff for years to take care of the upshot. Dude, he married her of his own free will, when he was over fifty, was at the top of his profession, and filthy rich, so it's not like he didn't have *agency*.
Otter you are clearly correct about his life being the opposite of hard. But why are you so tenaciously against him?
Also, he has every right to self destruct if he wishes to.
Maybe because I used to be a big fan, and I can see how he's wasted his talent, gone from brilliant to lazy as an actor. Or maybe it's because I hate seeing people throw their lives away, hate it enough that I took a job where I try to stop them from doing so. Maybe it's because seeing what I see on a daily basis, I resent seeing someone who has the resources to successfully fight his demons, chose to throw his talent and possibly his life away. Or maybe I'm just sick of him, after spending months listen to the whole world talk about him and his deeply unprofessional whore.
Maybe it's all of the above.
As a rape victim, I support real victims of abuse. I do not support liars. I like maybe a handful of Depp's films as I find he's terribly repetitive in the roles he chooses to play. As for his money, it's his effing money. He made it based on the HARD WORK he did to accomplish it. If you had done the same coming from the same background I'd praise you as well. What I do not support are bullies and the aforementioned liars. Amber Heard is a liar and perjurer who has as yet to be punished by a court of law for those lies. I could give a rat's ass what Depp has. I care his career and reputation were damaged on a lie.
shareFISH-WHORE...LMAO...THAT'S FUNNY. NOEMOJI

Not sure where the heck you got that pic from but he looks fine elsewhere...
shareLooks bloated from drink!
share🙄
shareWho knows? Maybe. Most of our favorite stars don't appear as we see them in movies and in the extreme cases it can be quite a shock. These folks don't usually a live lives of moderation, despite what they want their PR images to be.
I have to admit, I never really got the popularity of Johnny Depp, but I don't think I ever watched his most famous movies. The first movie I saw that I knew was Johnny was the silly movie "The Ninth Gate" which I quite enjoyed, but most of the stuff I saw him in later was fairly forgettable.
