Amber Heard killed this man's career
NO projects coming up outside Fantastic beast and you can see a clear decline in the number of projects in 2019 and this year.
What a shame.

I think it is more a matter of Depp's little head killed his career when it convinced him to leave Vanessa and chase after a psychotic bimbo named Amber. He wasn't forced to get involved with the gold digging whore, that was his choice and he couldn't seem to resist the temptation.... well he paid a price for that stupidity.
shareAn almost Faustian predicament/fall .. which I'm sure hasn't gone unnoticed by Depp
shareNah
shareWhile Heard certainly hurt his career prospects, other factors have gone into it as well. One of the main ones being his gross mismanagement of money. If you look at his purchases it is crazy how he even has any money left. Selecting crappy movies to star in or being in films that vastly under-perform at the box office is not great either. Making a joke about killing the president probably did not make him any new friends and attacking a pa on a film that is now not being released in the United States due to legal matters relating to the incident also put a damper on his career. So he also contributed a great deal to his career crashing.
shareLets be honest. He killed his own career. Even box offices successes hes been in they like "yep theres Johnny going over the top giving a weird performance."
the man just doesnt have it anymore it seems
Exactly.
I think he is a talented actor when he wants to be, but I am so sick and tired of Johnny Depp, being the same character in every movie. It's not entertaining anymore.
No, 10-20 years of shitty, lazy, repetitive, gimmicky performances ruined Depp's career. He used to be an interesting actor but lost his way long before Heard came along, and continued the same crap trends of doing the same tics and accents and godawful makeup in every single film he makes.
He did it to himself. Well, with help from Tim Burton.
