When she was young she was smoking hot. Including her heigh, which is a trait of beauty (as in, tall>short).
Why the hell would she feel bad for being the tallest girl in school?
I've heard a few times, that being so tall is not that great. People with a big height advantage feel out of place, and towering over everyone I think, makes them feel uncomfortable. Plus, a lot of times you have to duck in places, especially if you enter rooms, and ducking becomes tiring.

Anybody has disadvantages for being anything.
I would look at the pluses:
tall people look better, are stronger and make more money.
