Just saw Thelma and Louise for the first time in 20 years

This movie stands the test of time but what really stands out is her performance. She really makes the movie with her accent and airheadedness. Great movie and great actress. Wish they'd make a movie like this today.

I agree. Geena Davis played the airhead brilliantly. Thelma was not unintelligent, but had lived a very sheltered life, due to being married to such a lowlife. Davis conveyed that very convincingly.
