Favorite John Cusack Character

There was a thread like this before, so I decided to bring this back. So, who's your favorite movie character? If you have more than one favorite go on ahead and list them. Also, if you want to give out explanations on why you like that character, feel free to do so.

Here are my favorites:

U.S. Marshal Vince Larkin (Con Air)- He's one of those who knows what's got to be done, even if it means to be in some places at the wrong time. Also, gotta love a man in uniform, his personality drew me in. If I ever met a guy like Vince, I would so ask him out to dinner in a heartbeat. He's also very handsome as well.

Jackson Curtis (2012) - He'll do whatever he can to protect his family. Even though he tries to be brave for them, we all can see the terror in his eyes when the world is falling apart. But he still stands strong for them no matter what. Really gotta love him for that! And he also still had strong love for his wife, that's what made me fall in love with him.

Mike Enslin (1408) - Stubborn and curious. Couple of things to describe him. But another can be tortured soul. My heart went out to him when he lost his daughter to a mysterious illness. The whole scene of his daughter dying in his arms made me feel the pain he's feeling. What made it unbearable was that the room was torturing him with those horrible memories. He had a right to search for answers regarding the paranormal, but with a price, of going into 1408. But at least he got to talk to his daughter again.

Those are my favorites, if I have another or an honorable mention to bring up, I talk all about it.

So, tell me your favorites. Oh, I'm new by the way and I'm a girl, just to let you know. Have at it!

Seconded. He set the standards for the ideal boyfriend.

"Do you know John Lennon?"
"Yeah, sure, he was the president before Lincoln."

Read your list, and those are very great characters not just in John C movies, just great characters in general, and the others that posted are great choices as well. But for me oddly it has to be Lane Meyers from Better Off Dead. Something about that awkward teen that is feeling so low, and then his odd ball creative way of seeing the world, is so appealing. I was a teen during that same era of the 80's and I guess I can relate.
