They have astonishing $ 130M in the pocket now from WW sales. They probably need another $300++ cash in order to break even.
About $700M BO to turn a profit.
budget is nearly 300m, 700m is only to break even, even then they will post box office revenue to profit anything
shareThe bud was $300 + $200M in advertising globally. If you combine US & global BO the studio will receive half $ that back.
in theory they need to reach $1B to be in the black.
nope
Barbie will make 3 times as much, poor Tommy
shareStrange times where a movie that has made $450M WW 2 weeks into its release is considered a bomb.
shareI think that's a bit of hyperbole and wouldn't be surprised on a re-release toward Part 2 coming out since it won't have the Barbenheimer crap to hamper it.. Part 1 really is good, but like everything over the Summer, Barbie murdered it along with Indy and The MEG II, though overseas & globally MEG II is killing it $$$$
