I do t think he's given a bad performance. Even in roles where's he's over the top.

I would agree. I have seen 18 of his films and he was good, even when the film wasn't.

Les Miserables.

He was completely wrong for the part. But the entire movie was a mess so really not his fault.

I thought he was fine but his voice wasn't strong enough.

He was horrible in Thor: Love and Thunder, couldn't look more ridiculous.

He played Zeus. If you are a fan of his, then you probably shouldn't watch it.
