Craven made one good film. The first Nightmare on Elm Street. All his other film’s sucked, especially the Scream franchise. He’s one of the most overrated hacks in the business.

THE HILLS HAVE EYES,A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET,NEW NIGHTMARE,THE PEOPLE UNDER THE STAIRS,SCREAM...HE IS A BIT OVERRATED...HE WAS NO HACK THOUGH.

And when it comes down to it Nightmare on Elm Street 2-6 and the TV Show were all better than the original Elm Street and Wes cried about it for 30 years and repeatedly tried to sabotage the franchise.

Considering he’s been dead almost 8 years he’s not really IN the business anymore.
